Valentine's Day Scramble (by Chrissa)

The fourteenth was the loveliest day of the year: Valentine's Day! A day to show all your loved ones how much you care. At school we have a valentine exchange. We all make each other valentines and then the teacher passes them out to the class. As soon as we got inside the classroom, we put our creativity to the test and colored, cut, glued, and designed unique cards for each of our classmates. I wrote a short poem inside each of my friends valentines. Then, we headed off to lunch and anxiously hinted about each other's cards. Samantha longed to get a valentine from her secret love, Johnny. She blushed when Carely told us about the poem in her diary she found on the scavenger hunt! We all scurried back to class as soon as lunch ended. When we entered the classroom we were delighted to find piles of colorful valentines on top of our desks. I picked a card off the top of the large stack and began to read it. The front had a picture of a lion holding a flower. On the inside it read, "I love you, and I'm not lion!" I laughed because it was so cheesy. It was from Julie. I wondered why she decided to put a lion on it she knows my favorite animal is a dolphin. I liked it anyway! Just then I heard Kit shriek from behind me. I turned around and saw her holding a pink, heart-shaped valentine with the letters "S+J" on the front. She read it to me. "Roses are red, Violets are blue, It was love at first sight, when I laid eyes on you." "How could My dear Jimmypoo not know how to spell my name? Kit starts with a K not an S! I thought he knew me better," cried Kit. I found this amusing because whenever Kit is around Jimmy all she does is try to impress him with her corniest knock-knock jokes! Not once has she told him her name! I went back to my desk and continued to look through my cards. A lot of people seemed to not know me very well. People complimented me on my great singing voice, my mad cooking skills, and my flowing blonde hair...none of which I think of myself as having. I was very confused on the way home and couldn't think about anything else for the rest of the day. Even at night I had a dream that I was being kissed by a giant lion... Ew! The next morning I woke up early because I heard a noise I the kitchen. I sleepily walked into the kitchen and found Samantha hastily making her lunch. I asked her why she was in such a hurry. She grabbed a valentine out of her pocket. It had a heart on it with "J+K" in the middle. It read "Meet me by the lake tomorrow morning for a Valentine surprise." Before I had time to ask her anything else, she snatched her lunchbox, backpack, and her valentine and skipped out the door. Fifteen minutes later the rest of the girls were ready to walk to school. We decided take a short cut that passed by an apple orchard, around the lake, and to our school. We were all laughing and talking when we heard a scream. We ran toward the sound and saw Samantha standing next to Jimmy. Kit gasped. Then I realized something. I rummaged through my backpack and grabbed the first card I saw. It was a card from Josefina that said, "To the girl with the beautiful, flowing blonde hair, I wish you the happiest of Valentine's Days." I read it out loud to everyone and they all laughed. I asked Josefina if this was the card she had made for me. "That was Jessica's card!" she exclaimed. "See," I said "Everyone's valentines got mixed up!" As soon as we got to school, we all inspected each others valentines and gave them to their rightful owners. When I read my real card I discovered that I ended up being complimented on my kind heart, generosity, and creativity. That's more like it! My lion card was exchanged for an adorable card with two dolphins that said, "To an amazing swimmer and very sweet doll-fin!" Kit and Samantha's valentines had also got swapped, and they were very pleased with their actual cards! In the end we  learned what had happened, Ms. Johnson told us that it is a good idea to put people's names on their cards! Oops! Happy Valentine's Day from all of us at AG Gossip!

My Scavenger Hunt! Part 5 (By Carely)

Sorry that we haven't posted in a while, but we've really been so busy! To catch you up, we got back from our trip last weekend, and it was very fun! Going on trips are awesome, but I just love when you can finally go back home! Would you guess what the first thing I did when I got home was? I went onto the blog, and started looking for my crazy spatula! Before I could check the blog, I noticed that someone was walking into my room! I quickly turned the light on, and then I noticed it was Kit. She was standing right next to the printer, with my spatula in her hand!!! All of you who guessed printer were correct!

"Press a button or click for two, pictures and stories come out of the blue"

I was in fact, quite upset with Kit, but then she showed me my spatula. She had written my name on it in beautiful letters! I then realized that she sent me to the printer because she printed on my spatula! I said, "thanks Kit!" and then she said, "I was just going to give it to you, but knowing me, I like to play a few tricks along the way!" Then we both laughed and hugged, now that I look back on it, it was in fact kinda funny!
Anyways...

My Scavenger Hunt! Part 4 (By Carely)

Hey, thanks everyone for helping me figure out where Kit hid my spatula. I waited a couple of days to make sure I had in enough results, and I posted your feedback here.

jonasfan12: I definitely think the clue is hidden in a history text book!
Chrissa: a calender
Elle: Either a textbook or a diary

Gabby: Maybe a history book? It would also be like a scrapbook because you can look through your history through picture.
Ciata: I think it is a calendar!
Happy Days: BOOK! DUH! Maybe a social studies one. Ha anybody been doing a Revolutionary War study in Doll School?
Happy Days: A calandar works, too

all4dolls - Is it in a book? ~Mia and Eva

♥♥Iona♥♥ - A Planner? Or some kind of book?

Claire - A time travel book...

♥♥Iona♥♥ - I think it might be a history book

Doodledog - Is it in some kind of calendar?

Thank you everyone for helping me try to figure out this clue, again! We had some amazing feedback for this!  The first place I decided to look in was Julie's history textbook. I flipped through all the pages, and even though it was almost like a trip through time, Kit didn't hide any spatula there! The next request I got was a diary. It sounded very likely, but getting into Samantha's secret diary!? Now that was a problem. I knew where she hid the key, I've seen her put it inside a hole in her toothbrush before when nobody was looking. So, I pretended that I needed to go to the bathroom, then closed the door and got out the key. When she wasn't looking, I opened up her mattress, and got out her secret diary. Now, I've never done anything so naughty before! I opened up the diary, and gasped at what I saw!!!! No, it wasn't a spatula, or a clue. It was a note that was taped into the pages with hearts drawn all over it.
It read, "Roses are red, Violets are blue, you're my sugar, and I love you! Signed, Johnny
Wow!!! I was laughing so hard that I fell off the bed!! Finally, I put up the diary, and I had to get out of the room before somebody found out what I was doing!! I walked into my room, and realized that my calendar was still on February. I turned the page, and then a clue fell out! I was hoping it would be a spatula, but well that's kit for you!
Can you believe that it was not my spatula!?  It was just another one of those crazy clues!!! I think I need some more help here!! Here's what the clue read.

"Press a button or click for two, pictures and stories come out of the blue"

Kit!!!!!!!!!!! You sure know how to make me upset!
Please help me find it again!

My Scavenger Hunt! Part 3 (By Carely)

Hey, thanks everyone for helping me figure out where Kit hid my spatula. I waited a couple of days to make sure I had in enough results, and I posted your feedback here.

Happy Days: My guesses: 1.swing 2. Kite
C. : swingset beacause they can creak and moan and fly real high into the air

Elle: i  the swigset idea, that's really creative!

Ana: not trying to copy you Gabby, but I'm think it's the attic too. :D but it could be the basement also

Mary Jane: I like the "attic" and "swing set" theories

Elle: It might be a basement?

Gabby: Definitely an attic- the creaking and moans would be caused by "ghosts". Like Ghosts in the Attics.

♥♥Iona♥♥  - BIRD!

swissmiss♥lotti - Oooh ooh what about a swing?

Thank you everyone for helping me try to figure out this clue, again! So, I first looked in the attic, and it was really scary, and creaky, just like you all said. I took a quick glance everywhere and realized that it was not in the attic. I would think though, that clue fits the attic perfectly! I also went and checked the basement, which wasn't as scary! It was not there either. I was beginning to give up, until I saw some more advice you sent us. First, I checked Kaya's stuffed animal collection again for birds. She did have some cute birds, but none of them had a spatula on them. So, then I checked the garage to look at our kites, and again, nothing. Then, I went out to the swingset, because it creaks and moans, and I found something on it.

Can you believe that it was not my spatula!?  It was just another one of those crazy clues!!! I think I need some more help here!! Here's what the clue read.

"By the turn of a page, I can travel through time. Forwards or backwards all the dates in line"

Kit!!!!!!!!!!! You sure know how to make me upset!
Please help me find it again!

My Scavenger Hunt! Part 2 (By Carely)

Hey, thanks everyone for helping me figure out where Kit hid my spatula. I waited a couple of days to make sure I had in enough results, and I posted your feedback here.

Tanisha: i think its a basement
The computer room?
swissmiss♥lotti: A sewing room?

Ana: bedroom, and maybe yu should look in there and see if anything is diffrent

jonasfan12: hey Carely mayB it's in the laundry room..

Gabby: I think it's a bedroom. Animal friends= stuffed animals and work= homework.

Thank you everyone for helping me try to figure out this clue! So, I first looked in the basement, and it was normal, then I looked behind the computer, and in other spots, and the computer room was checked off the list. We don't have a sewing room, but I decided to look among Kaya's sewing kit. There was no spatula there. And then I was down to the bedroom. I didn't want to have to search every single bedroom, so I groaned. Then I realized that the clue said, "Animal friends and baskets of fun" I thought about who it is that has stuffed animals in baskets, and then I realized that was Angela! She was all about her stuffed animals! I looked in the basket, expecting to see my spatula, but to my utter disappointment, I saw another slip of paper with a clue written on! It read

"I creak and moan and fly real high. I may sound unhappy, but I'm not, I never lie"

Oh no!!!! I can't believe you Kit!!!
Please help me find it again!

My Scavenger Hunt! (By Carely)

So apparently Kit thinks it's fun to "misplace" a new spatula that I saved up for and bought with my own money! Not to mention the $50.00 mixer as well! You see, this morning I got up really early to surprise everyone with some fresh, homemade waffles. When I opened up the cabinet, all my new stuff was gone! I knew I didn't misplace it, but I knew someone who probably did! So, I knocked on Kit's door and she was wearing her pink pajamas, sleep mask, and boy did she have serious bed hair! Anyways, she giggled and said, "I admit that I did take the stuff! So I made you a scavenger hunt so you can find it!" She started giggling again, but in my eyes, this really was not funny. But I knew that I had to play with her silly rules, so I could get my stuff back. She told me to go to the big palm tree in the front yard, and look for something. As I was walking out of her room, I thought what a silly tiny "scavenger hunt" this really was. Just walking to that tree really is no big deal. But once I got there, I didn't see my spatula or my mixer. Just a note with a clue on it. I thought Oh no... How was I going to figure this out. It read:

Animal friends and baskets of fun, but also a room where work can be done. If you look here then you will find what you have right here in your mind.

So, I don't really get Kit's clue. Is this some big joke!? Please help me figure out what room in our house she is telling me to go to. Leave a comment, tell us in the chat box, or email us at dolltalk@aggossipblog.com Please help me figure out this funny sounding clue!
